dailyrecord.co.ukDawn raids have helped disrupt drug distribution in Troon.One of the busts early on Friday was a house in the new Earls Green development in Barassie.A squad of 30 police officers were involved in the operation.Tens of thousands of pounds in illicit cash and Class A drugs was seized.A fifth house in the leafy Irvine enclave of Perceton was also targeted.Troon properties in Marr Drive, Foster Crescent, North Shore Road and the Ramsay Court block in Muirhead’s Scott Crescent (shown below) all got an early morning knock at the door.The operation was not against a linked drugs ring, but as a result of varied intelligence built up over a number of months.Police commander Brian Anderson was delighted at the result, and asks for people to continue
