The construction manager from Essex was ready to start dating again after he broke up with his fiance. He was partnered with personal trainer Jess, 35.
During their date fans couldn't help but point out that they thought Dan looked like a very famous face. One said: "Gordon Ramsay lookalike... #firstdates."
