Firefighters have been working through the night to tackle a huge blaze in Bury. Eight fire engines rushed to the scene of the fire on Milltown Street in Radcliffe at around 9.15pm last night (Tuesday).

The blaze broke out in a single-storey commercial building, the fire service said. Police officers, paramedics and council officials were also called to the scene.

A large plume of black smoke could be spotted billowing from the fire, with people from all over Greater Manchester taking to social media to share pictures of the cloud.
