Firefighters put out chip-pan blaze in high rise block of flats in Stockport

hereA spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called to reports of a fire on Bosden Fold, in Stockport, at around 6pm on Tuesday, 15 September.“Five fire engines, from Stockport and Offerton, and a hydraulic platform quickly attended the scene.“The fire involved a chip pan in the kitchen of a flat in a domestic high-rise building. "Firefighters used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel, two smoke curtains and a positive pressure ventilation fan to extinguish the fire.“Fire crews were in attendance for one hour and 15 minutes.”.
