A family claim they have been stuck living in an 'igloo' house after their heating was turned off. Joseph Grady, 28, said his landlord turned off their heating and hot water and now he is unable to get it back on, reports the Echo.

The group which includes Joseph, his partner Louise Stockley, and their three children allege that they have spent four nights huddled together in the same bed as temperatures plummet to freezing.

The father claims that they lost the ability to heat the property last week after an engineer said their boiler was 'unsafe'.The 28-year-old says he has no idea when the situation will be resolved as he has been without heating since December 8.

Joseph said: "I haven't had any contact from them since Thursday."I just keep calling them and getting fobbed off with promises of call-backs from engineers that never come.
