The 27-year-old striker says he was looking for a new challenge and liked what he heard from Binos boss Kevin Rutkiewicz, who is gearing up for a League Two title challenge this season.But former Hearts, Kilmarnock and Livingston striker Carrick, who was top scorer at Airdrie last season with nine goals in 30 games, is happy that Diamonds fans recognised his efforts.Carrick fired in 31 goals in 112 appearances for the New Broomfield club, having joined from Livingston in January 2018.And he said: ""It was great to receive all the messages and it was great that they could see it meant a lot to me, that I worked my hardest every time I put on the shirt."It was great.
