Escape to the Chateau’s Dick and Angel Strawbridge have left their fans stunned with a look inside the rarely-seen turret room at their 45-room chateau in the small market town of Martigné-sur-Mayenne, France.The couple became household names after they got their own show on Channel 4 in 2016, which saw them renovate the then-run down property, but it was axed earlier this year amid rumours of bullying behaviour from the Strawbridges towards production staff.

Dick, 64, and Angel, 45, who share two children together, are still living in their French chateau, from where they host weddings and events.

On their shared Instagram, they recently posted a snap of the turret room which was designed and created by Angel. It features an eye-catching wallpaper design with different prints in a diamond pattern, whilst there are two wicker chairs and a tall lamp that add to the aesthetic.

Captioning the post, the couple wrote: "The original Wallpaper Museum. During series one, Angel's trip to the attic with baby Dorothy led to an amazing discovery! "Hidden away for decades, a collection of wallpaper offcuts, originally used at the Chateau, caught her eye and sparked her imagination! "How could she reuse and recycle the beautiful, delicate designs, and bring some of the Chateau’s magic back to life…? "The rest as they say is history." Escape to the Chateau fans rushed to the comments section to marvel at the room as one wrote: "I am truly amazed by this couple’s energy, vision, and talent." Another commented: "This project was absolutely one of my favorites!
