Eric Carle, the children's author and illustrator, best known for his book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," has died at age 91.
Carle's family confirmed the news of his death in an announcement issued by Penguin Young Readers. He died Sunday at his summer studio in Northampton, Massachusetts, with family members at his side. "Heaven just got more colorful," Peter H.
