that he is proud of Christine and the way her work is going since leaving the show, especially in light of her forthcoming venture on ITV challenge show The Games, which is due to air later this year. "He thinks this is a step in the right direction," an insider revealed. "He never really liked her being on the Housewives.

Christine, who shares twins Leo and Penelope, eight, and five year old Felicity with the Top Gear presenter, has really spread her wings over the last year, having penned a successful autobiography, made an important BBC documentary about autism and starred on ITV's The Real Full Monty to raise awareness for breast cancer. "He feels like her career is really on the up," the source explained. "With the documentary, the book and he was really proud of The Real Full Monty. "The Games is the next big thing for Christine and he can’t wait to be there to support her."
