Emotional footage shows Scots kids medley of national songs on deserted pandemic streets

Hogmanay anthems. The Performance Academy Scotland youngsters headed down the city's deserted streets to present their stunning show, expressing the disappointment of this year before building up to their hope for a brighter 2021.

Lisa Cleugh, who runs the Academy which has classes across Glasgow as well as a base in Bathgate, said after a year of cancelled shows and Zoom classes they were determined to bow out on a high.

Lisa told the Record: "We were trying to think outside the box so we thought we'd go outside to tell our lockdown story."We wanted to share something inspiring for 2021 for both the audience watching and for our students."It reflects the story that everything has been cancelled, but shares hope that the kids will get back.
