The frustrated clergywoman - who is played by actress Katherine Dow Blyton - is having an affair with murderer and corrupt cop DI Malone behind the back of her ex drugs boss boyfriend Will Taylor.
Malone had been blackmailing Will back into his criminal life after he was released from prison. He even launched a campaign of terror against her - stalking and trying to kill her, blaming her for putting him away when she was an undercover police officer.
And while initially Harriet sent Malone packing when she discovered what he was doing now she has decided to resume their illicit relationship.
