dailyrecord.co.ukEK Probus members met this week with David Vennard, who told them about the discovery of the Northwest Passage at the top of Canada by explorer John Rae.The meeting opened with a few words of welcome from President Ray Jones who then conducted the club's business.
A minute's silence was held in remembrance of a recently passed member, Mr Harry Kirkwood.President Jones then welcomed and introduced the speaker David Vennard.
