university student tried to bite two police officers while tripping on LSD he’d taken as an “experiment” with pals. Michael McCrory and his friends decided to try acid after seeing a programme about the hallucinogenic drug on television.

The 20-year-old was found by officers in an Edinburgh park and was “staring blankly” and not responding to their questions. When cops tried to get McCrory into a police van, he attempted to bite one officer on the head and another on the leg.
