Staff from Edinburgh's Sick Kids hospital have recorded a moving version of 'Lean On Me' to boost morale and show the health benefits of singing during the coronavirus pandemic.
The late Bill Withers classic is performed by a "virtual choir" of more than 80 doctors, nurses, radiologists, physio and occupational therapists, and Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity (ECHC) team members.
The staff, with its sopranos, altos, basses and tenors, recorded themselves singing their individual pieces at home, which the ECHC edited together into a video.ECHC wanted to bring the hospital community together and raise peoples' spirits.Dr Kirsty Hogg, a paediatric doctor at the Sick Kids who appears in the video, said: "Taking part in the virtual choir
