Dean Gaffney had a shocking encounter when he was hit by a car driven by Chelsea footballer Wesley Fofana, resulting in a broken collar bone back in 2022.The former EastEnders star, 45, was "catapulted" into the air after being struck by Wesley's Lamborghini during a night out on King's Road in Chelsea, West London.

Wesley was breathalysed at the scene, and after passing the test he was allowed to leave as he was not deemed to be at fault for the incident.

An eyewitness has now revealed that Dean wasn't told until later that he had been run over by a famous football star. A source told The Sun: "He'd just left a nightspot and was trying to get in a black cab when the Lamborghini hit him in the midriff, catapulting him into the air. "He was out cold and his mates were all really worried. The emergency services gave him pain relief and he was patched up in hospital. "At the time, he did not realise who the driver was but was told later that it was Wesley Fofana.

Dean’s a Brentford fan and joked about a star of a rival club taking out a well-known fan of their neighbours!" OK! have contacted representatives for Dean Gaffney and Wesley Fofana.
