East Kilbride tradesman sets up crowdfunder after thieves nick thousands of pounds worth of tools

A local tradesman is appealing for support after callous thieves robbed him of his livelihood.Self-employed gas engineer Bobby Paton lost thousands of pounds worth of tools last week when crooks broke into his two work vans while on a job down south.He has since launched a Gofundme page to try and cover the £3500 cost of the equipment and rebuild his three-year-old business, Energy Made Greener.Bobby, 36, from Westwood, told the News: “I’m the owner of a small business that has recently expanded and taken on another worker.“I had bought a new van and came down to Coventry for a week’s work.“In just eight minutes thieves broke into my vans and ripped my livelihood away.“They took expensive tools that had cost a small fortune and taken years
