Raith Rovers and Cove Rangers fans have helped to raise close to £45,000 towards their teams legal fees. The three clubs have their own fund-raising pages to help towards their lawyer’s fees going into the Scottish Football Association ’s arbitration this week, as they look to defend Hearts and Partick Thistle’s move to deny them promotion.

Two Dundee United fans, Paul McNicoll and Andy Crichton, set up a GoFundMe page last week after an appeal from the three clubs to supporters and fellow Scottish Professional Football League clubs.

The pair plan to walk from Tynecastle to Tannadice on Saturday and set the modest goal of around £1,000 but have smashed beyond the £35,0000 mark.Cove Rangers have also done something similar with fan Ian.
