Drivers are being urged to consider postponing journeys and avoid parking underneath or near to trees as Storm Jocelyn is expected to hit parts of the UK.
A number of weather warnings have been put in place over the next 24 hours as the country braces for the next storm following Storm Isha.
The Met Office has warned that some areas could see gusts of up to 80mph with 40-50mm of rain possible over higher ground. Yellow wind and rain alerts are in place for much of the country, including Greater Manchester and the North West, throughout Tuesday and into Wednesday afternoon as the storm hits.
A more severe amber warning of wind is in place for northern Scotland. Met Office chief meteorologist Steve Willington said Storm Jocelyn, named by Met Eireann, could cause more disruption than Storm Isha.
