Snow, hail, ice and cold set to hit UK as Spring heatwave comes to abrupt end
Despite the glimpse of summer we felt last week, the sunny weather has come to an abrupt halt and replaced with freezing temperatures. Last week, the weather was deemed "unseasonably warm" as temperatures hit record highs for this time of year. However, if you put away your winter coat you might want to dust it back off as the UK gears up for freezing weather and even snow and hail in some parts.The Met Office has issued a weather warning in parts of Scotland ahead of the freezing weather due to hit this week.
