Jamie Foxx has paid tribute to his Django Unchained co-star Keith Jefferson, after he tragically passed away aged 53. Keith, who played Pudgy Ralph in the hit 2012 film, had been battling cancer.

Actor Jamie, 55, shared the heartbreaking news of Keith's passing on social media on 5 October, as he paid tribute to his late friend.

Sharing a recent photo of them together, Jamie told fans "this one hurts" and branded Keith "an amazing soul". His full message read: "this one hurts.

Keith, you've been nothing but absolute grace, your whole life your heart is pure your love is immeasurable you were an amazing soul. "We all miss you dearly.
