Police are hunting thieves who pinched digging equipment left at an Irvine bridge.Officers say a digging bucket was stolen close to Long Drive near St Kilda Bank between 5pm on Sunday, November 6 and 8am on Monday, November 7.Police say whoever stole the bucket had to dig under it to remove it and believe it may have been there for some time.They are appealing for witnesses and anyone with any information is urged to call police on 101, citing reference UA02051122.
