David de Gea is said to have finalised the main terms of his renewal contract at Manchester United in the knowledge that he may lose his No.1 status.

De Gea’s initial deal was due to expire next month. The 32-year-old is United’s longest serving squad member and is the final remaining member who last lifted the Premier League title in 2013.
However, Ten Hag stopped short of backing him as next season’s preferred pick when asked about it after the West Ham defeat.
