Daizen Maeda signed off in style at Yokohama F Marinos with a goal to become joint top scorer in Japanese football. And the striker said his farewells at Ange Postecoglou’s former club as he prepares to hook up with his old boss at Celtic.
Maeda is set to move to Parkhead in January with compatriots Yosuke Ideguchi and Reo Hatate almost certain to join him at the Hoops to keep up their Scottish Premiership push.
And the 24-year-old scored his 23rd goal of the season at the weekend in a draw against Kawasaki as they finished in runners-up position to Kawasaki Frontale and he finished level on goals with their Brazilian hitman Leandro Damiao.And the Japanese international appeared to leave it in little doubt that he's scored his last goal
