COUNTRYFILE viewers were left stunned during Sunday evening's instalment after learning one shocking aspect of a dairy farm.

Matt Baker took a trip to Otter Farm on the Clinton Devon Estates in the latest edition of the beloved nature show - but viewers weren't happy about one fine detail.

The BBC presenter spoke to youngstock manager Alice - heading up the calving team - where she introduced him to some adorable newborn calves.

Pointing at the infants, Alice revealed: “This one was born nine o’clock last night and the other two four o’clock this morning.” “They’re doing very well, but obviously not with mum,” Matt pointed out.
