In that time, the TV personality has become hugely popular amongst fans, in 2017 he was appointed Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) for services to charity and the arts.
His work on the ITV programme was also recognised at the National Television Awards in 2015, 2018 and 2019 when he was awarded Best Judge.
