Coronation Street star Alan Halsall ‘splits’ from co-star Tisha Merry after five years
ok.co.ukCoronation Street favourite Alan Halsall has reportedly parted ways with his girlfriend of five years, Tisha Merry.The couple first met on the set of the popular ITV soap in 2019, when Tisha, 30 appeared as waitress Steph Britton alongside series regular Alan, 41, who plays mechanic Tyrone Dobbs.
Now, five years after sparks flew between the pair, the couple made the decision to call time on their relationship at the start of 2024, reports The Sun.
A source close to the couple told the newspaper: “Alan and Tisha had a lot of love for each other and had really similar interests, enjoying socialising and going on holiday together.
But they started to drift apart and feel the pressure of making their relationship work get on top of them. “They realised they weren’t on the same page and splitting up felt like the best option.They’ve been focusing on themselves and surrounding themselves with their own friends.” Since the split, Tisha has reportedly moved out of Alan’s Manchester home and has instead been throwing herself into work to distract her from the breakup, the star has also removed all photos of Alan from her Instagram account.
