Coronation Street’s Kym Marsh and Rachel Leskovac land roles in Waterloo Road
ok.co.ukThey’ve both walked on the Coronation Street cobbles, but now former ITV soap actresses Kym Marsh and Rachel Leskovac have landed roles in the reboot of Waterloo Road.The revived BBC drama will soon return to our screens after a seven year absence with a line-up of original and new cast members.
Now it’s been revealed that actress and TV presenter Kym, 45, will be stepping into the shoes of school canteen worker Nicky Walters, who is also mum to two pupils who attend the secondary school.

You can sign up at the top of the page.The Morning Live star said: “I’m thrilled to be joining the fabulous cast of Waterloo Road, it’s such a joy to get the opportunity to film in Manchester again and I can’t wait to get going!” Meanwhile, 45 year old Rachel, best known as Weatherfield’s Natasha Blakeman, will be taking on the role of Waterloo Road’s new Head of English, Coral Walker.
