As fans of the ITV soap know, Ruxandra Porojnicu returned to the show as Alina came back to Weatherfield earlier this month.
The character was called as a witness as the leader of a human trafficking group in Romania was going on trial. After randomly bumping into her former love rival in a car park, it quickly dawned on Fiz Dobbs that her that her husband Tyrone could be the father of Alina's child. In her final scene, viewers saw her at the airport departures lounge, cradling her stomach, hinting that she was expecting her first child.
