Churchgoing Scots granny knocked child off bike while driving five times over drink-drive limit

A churchgoing granny driving while more than five times the drink limit, who knocked a four-year-old off his bike on a zebra crossing, has been spared jail.

Mary Savoy, 70, then drove off without stopping, and when followed and challenged appeared to not even know what had happened.Falkirk Sheriff Court was told the incident happened on Abbots Road, Grangemouth, about 6.55pm on August 13th last year .
