Charlotte Crosby slams Geordie Shore cast after being 'gossiped about' on new series

Charlotte Crosby has slammed her former Geordie Shore mates after they were caught gossiping on camera behind her back.The mum-of-one decided to quit the MTV show last summer after 12 years and later unfollowed castmate Marnie Simpson, which sparked rumours of a feud between the pair.Despite saying she wouldn't be tuning in to the new series, Charlotte took to Instagram to thank fans for their support and made a statement, writes The Mirror.

On her page, she penned: “Hi everyone. I just wanted to pop on to say thanks so much for all the lovely messages I’ve received over the last 24 hours.

They’ve meant a lot. I haven’t had a chance to watch the new eps of Geordie Shore yet, but I don’t think I will. I really was quite clueless as to conversations that were being had behind my back by ‘friends’.”After it had been reported that Charlotte had been acting like a diva on set, she added: “Last year whilst filming was going on, I had just had a baby, lost my beloved nana and was trying to be at my mam’s side through her cancer diagnosis.

I know many of you are already fully aware of the rollercoaster of emotions we went through as a family that year, so I feel a little saddened I have to bring this up in a bid to try and defend myself.“I was hoping to be really strong when the show aired and try to brush it off like I wasn’t bothered, but I am hurt and I can’t quite seem to shake it off.
