homeless people struggling amid the coronavirus pandemic.Lou Macari, who played for the Scottish national team, Celtic and Manchester United among others during a career spanning from the 60s to 80s, was devastated when the global outbreak forced him to close his homeless shelter in Stoke on Trent.The 71-year-old former midfielder feared for the fate of his 46 residents after the closure.But Lou, who had 24 senior caps and four goals for Scotland, wouldn't give up and instead rented a warehouse the size of a football field.He has since installed 'glamping' style pods which have TVs, heated water, kettles and numbered doors to help the residents find work.The pods are more commonly seen on high-end camping holidays.Lou told Radio Five Live.
