"Riverdale" showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa is promising to make his show a more diverse and inclusive space. Aguirre-Sacasa made the pledge on social media after actress Vanessa Morgan called out the CW drama series on Twitter for its unfair treatment of black actors and stereotypical portrayal of black characters.

I’m not trying to take away anything from anyone or anybody that has been harassed or abused by the police.”

CORONATION Street bosses are plotting to keep older actors on-screen after a filming ban with video chat scenes.  Filming is yet to restart on the ITV soap but even when it does, network boss Kevin Lygo has banned older actors from returning to the set until social distancing measures have eased. With no idea when that might happen, Corrie bosses are trying to figure out how to keep older fan favourites such as Ken Barlow, Audrey Roberts and Rita Sullivan on our screens.
