After more than two months of concern over whether there will be enough episodes in the bank to take us through as the UK adjusts to the coronavirus pandemic, we finally have our answer.
ITV has confirmed that the best loved soap will kick off filming next week. Sister soap Emmerdale rebooted production two weeks ago and outlined a number of safety measures in place, while BBC’s Eastenders announced last month it will restart at the “end of June”.
And today Corrie fans had their long awaited update as show bosses announced that cast and crew were poised to recommence filming next Tuesday, June 9.
