Cambuslang cadet volunteer is honoured for his exceptional service

iOS - Android Derek has spent 42 years in the army cadet force, both as a cadet and now as an adult volunteer, and is currently deputy commandant of the Glasgow and Lanarkshire Battalion army cadet force.

He took on the role in June 2017 and is based at Battalion HQ in Cambuslang . Derek said: "I am proud to receive this award.
