Britney Spears Assaulted by NBA Player Victor Wembanyama's Security Team Member (Report)
justjared.comBritney Spears was allegedly assaulted on Wednesday night (July 5) in Las Vegas. The 41-year-old pop star allegedly approached NBA star Victor Wembanyama and was backhanded in the face by security, leading her to file a police report, via TMZ.
The apparent incident happened at Catch restaurant in the ARIA Hotel around 8:30 PM. She tapped him on his back, right shoulder and, we’re told the Director of Team Security for the San Antonio Spurs — the team that drafted Victor last month — instantly backhanded her, causing her to fall to the ground … knocking her glasses off,” the outlet reported.
After Britney composed herself and went to her table, the security staffer allegedly came over to the table and apologized, saying: “You understand how it is when you’re being swarmed by fans.” He then apparently apologized and Britney accepted. Britney‘s security team spent time with Victor‘s security member, and afterward her team filed a police report with the Metropolitan Police Dept.
