Mr Brand was pronounced dead by paramedics at approximately 11:05am at his home in Bargoed, Wales, after he took his own life, reports Wales Online.
An inquest held at Newport Coroners’ Court on September 29 heard how emergency services arrived at the scene shortly before 10:30am after Mr Brand's partner called the ambulance service.
