S Club 7's Hannah Spearritt has discussed her battle with breast implant illness ahead of her documentary airing this evening, Thursday 13 October.

Hannah had her breasts enlarged in 2013, sparking her health to “rapidly deteriorate” and leaving her unable to breast feed her children.The singer and actress suffered symptoms such as hair loss, blurred vision, brain fog, night sweats and severe panic attacks - leading to her to visit eight different specialists in a bid to find out what was wrong with her.

It took Hannah around two and a half years before a specialist finally linked her symptoms to her implants, noting that many women who have similar issues have gone on to feel better once they were removed. “Getting them taken out was the best decision of my life,” Hannah told OK!

magazine. “I was struggling to function as a human being on a day-to-day basis, and I think any other person would feel the same way once they had their implants taken out.” Explaining her reasons for wanting to go under the knife, Hannah admitted that it was “industry related”.
