Two boys have been found guilty of causing the death of Bolton teenager Reece Tansey. Reece, 15, died after being stabbed six times in Walker Avenue, Bolton, on May 4.
Today (November 15), a jury at Manchester Crown Court found a 15-year-old - Boy A - guilty of murder by a majority of 10-2. Another 15-year-old - Boy B - was found not guilty of murder, but guilty of manslaughter - by majority vote.
Weeping could be heard form the public gallery - where the family of Reece sat - as the jury delivered its verdict following more than 29 hours of deliberations.
The two boys - who cannot be named for legal reasons - will be sentenced at a future date. The jury has been excused from serving again for life. READ MORE: Mum turned into human
