A teenage boy was found with a knife injury to his leg as a group were 'set upon' and robbed in a horrific incident outside the Manchester Arndale shopping centre on Sunday evening (September 22).

Police were called to reports of a robbery at Exchange Square, just outside of the shopping complex, at around 7.30pm. A 16-year-old sustained a 'small knife injury' to his leg.

Enquiries have suggested that a group of teenagers were walking out of the Arndale while another group of males and females were behind them.
