Bláthnaid Tracey shared the devastating news that her husband Charlie’s sister died just a few days before Christmas, leaving the family heartbroken.

In the wake of the passing of her sister-in-law Claire Parsons, she said that the family have been very strong and shared moving words for all those who had an empty seat at the table over Christmas.

Taking to Instagram, the presenter uploaded a smiley photo of herself, Charlie, and their little dog on Christmas morning, but she explained that they were putting on a brave face. ‘Thinking of every family that had an empty seat at the table this year,’ the 2FM presenter shared.
