Meghan and Harry's 'inappropriate' request after wedding denied by Queen, claims expert
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly once made an 'inappropriate' request to the Queen that was immediately rejected, an expert has claimed. After the couple's 2018 wedding, the pair were hunting for a house with Harry's two-bedroom cottage in Kensington Palace not providing enough room.According to the Sunday Times, the couple went to the Queen and asked if they could live at Windsor Castle - a request that was refused.A report by Roya Nikkhah states: "The couple are understood to have set their hearts at first on Windsor Castle, and are believed to have asked the Queen if living quarters could be made available after their marriage."Instead, the pair were offered Frogmore Cottage which they lived in together until they left for America in 2020. Speaking to the Express, Royal Expert Hugo Vickers reasoned why the Queen may have decided to deny their request, saying it might not have been "entirely appropriate".He said: "There are empty bedrooms and suites in the private apartments within Windsor Castle which the Sussexes may have had their eye on, or perhaps some former living quarters in the castle grounds converted into other things."But I can see how it might not be entirely appropriate to have a young family living there."The couple now live in a beautiful Californian mansion with their two children Archie and Lilibet.

Man Utd branded 'the joke that writes itself' as they bring fans 'incredible sleep'
Manchester United are renowned for their ability to become the official partner for just about any consumer product — and their latest venture into the world of sponsorship left the gate wide open for them to be mocked by their rivals and own fans.As one of the biggest clubs on a global scale in terms of fan membership and revenue, it is no surprise that companies are keen to get their brands advertised at Old Trafford with the world watching.Their attempts to drum up revenue saw the club agree a lucrative 10-year partnership deal with Mlily, a mattress manufacturer, back in May 2018.And the latest advertisement from the company on social media has handed fans the opportunity to openly poke fun at the club and its partner. In a tweet posted on Wednesday, Mlily — defining themselves as a ‘Legend of Comfort’ — took the opportunity to celebrate their partnership with the Red Devils. The tweet read: "Bringing you incredible sleep, with our partners @ManUtd #mufc #redefiningsleep.”That unfortunate wording, coupled with the image of Bruno Fernandes, Marcus Rashford and Alex Telles — who looked to be on the verge of snoozing himself — attracted the attention of social media users.Man United have been criticised for their dull brand of football since Ralf Rangnick took charge in an interim role in early December and the statistics suggest there could be perhaps more entertainment.HAVE YOUR SAY! Does Manchester United's brand of football send you to sleep? Comment below.Rangnick’s men have only managed to score 11 goals in their eight games under the 63-year-old so far, including 1-0 victories over Crystal Palace, Norwich and Aston Villa. And with their football not being the easiest on the eye to observe, some witty Twitter users

Camilla could 'step up' to help Queen and 'set precedent for Kate', says expert
Duchess of Cornwall could lead the way for Kate Middleton to be added to the Counsellors of State in a “slimming down” of the monarchy, according to a royal expert. It is believed that Prince Charles’ wife Camila could be added earlier as the heir apparent’s spouse rather than having non-working royals removed. The potential move would set a precedent that could allow the Duchess of Cambridge to be added to the Counsellors of State.According to law, the Counsellors of State are the Sovereign's spouse and the next four people in the line of succession, but all have to be over the age of 21.Currently, Prince Harry, Prince Charles, Prince William and Prince Andrew are the four people who form the Queen’s Counsellors of State.Royal expert Gertrude Daly, host of Gert's Royal podcast, believes adding Camilla would be the easiest option to have more working royals as Counsellors of State. If the decision is made to add Camila, it could also see Kate added to the role to replace Charles rather than the next line in succession, which would be Princess Beatrice.Gertrude told the Daily Star: “If they did want to add someone to the Counsellors of State, what may be easier than removing Prince Andrew and Prince Harry, is to include the heir apparent’s spouse as a Counsellors of State.“Since Duchess Camilla is already going to be added, during Prince Charles’s reign, it could make sense to add her now.
