Strictly Come Dancing fans think a 'catfight' is brewing after slamming Motsi Mabuse's 'rude move'. The judges were back at their judging desk as the BBC One dance contest officially got underway.
The hit show aired live for the first time on Saturday night (September 21) as all 15 of the new Strictly couples performed in for the first time following last weekend's pre-recorded launch show that revealed the pairings for the 2024 run.
The first live show of the 2024 series kicked off with a routine from the professional dancers, who dressed in colourful outfits and danced an array of flamenco, cha cha, paso doble and salsa moves to a medley of songs before Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman arrived to welcome the judges and the Strictly stars to the ballroom. JB and Amy, who missed out on having a celebrity dance partner last year amid her treatment for breast cancer, were awarded 31 points during Strictly’s first live show for 2024 after the pair were given a standing ovation for their waltz to When I Need You by singer Leo Sayer.
