Ayrshire indie rockers The Frontiers join forces with top Scots record producer in stardom bid

Ayrshire indie rockers The Frontiers have set their sights on increasing their popularity even further after hooking up with a top Scottish producer.

Frontman Keir Mitchell revealed how the band has recorded some new tunes with the help of Jamie Holmes – who has produced some cracking tracks for Scots singer-songwriter Gerry Cinnamon.And now they are ready and waiting to unleash their new batch of material when they head to Glasgow’s Sauchiehall Street next month in the Broadcast Glasgow event.

The young musicians are frontman Keir Mitchell, 24, from Cumnock, Ross Phillips, 24, also Cumnock, on guitar and Kilmarnock drummer Paul Kelly, 20.

And the trio will be reunited with their bass guitarist, Cumnock’s James Campbell, 21, who put his involvement with The Frontiers on the backburner last year to concentrate on his university studies.
