Perthshire has two contenders at the first ever Great British Wedding Awards (GBWA) to be held in Birmingham next week. George Urquhart, boss of 3G Catering Services UK only recently won at the Scottish Food Awards, taking the prize for wedding caterer of the year 2022, having won the national title previously in 2018.

Now his business 3G Catering Services UK, operating from kitchens in Aberuthven and an office in Gillies of Perth, is flying the flag not only for city and the wider region, but as the only catering business from Scotland shortlisted at the GBWA.
