Apple TV+ Raises Subscription Prices by 43%

Apple TV+ users will be experiencing a major price hike soon. The streamer is raising its subscription rate by 43%, or from $6.99 a month to $9.99 a month, one year after the streaming service had its very first price increase from $4.99 a month.

An annual Apple TV+ subscription will now cost $99, versus the previous $69, via TVLine. Keep reading to find out more… In addition, subscription prices are increasing for Apple Arcade (now $6.99/month, with no change to annual plan), Apple News+ (now $12.99/month) and Apple One (now $19.95/individual, $25.95/family and $37.95/Premier) in the United States as of Wednesday (October 25) and select international markets.

Existing subscribers will see these price increases 30 days later, on their next renewal date. “We are focused on delivering the best experiences possible for our customers by consistently adding high-quality entertainment, content, and innovative features to our services,” Apple said in a statement. “Since launching four years ago, Apple TV+ has made history for streaming services by crossing major milestones in a short span of time, thanks to its extensive selection of award-winning and broadly acclaimed series, feature films, documentaries, and kids and family entertainment.” Find out which Apple TV+ shows are ending, and which have been renewed.
