Mav (Maverick Carter) didn’t even run my interview, they blocked me out, the Jewish media blocked me out.

Pierce Brosnan has opened up about the “stupid” comment he thinks led to him losing the titular role in Batman in the nineties.Before starring as James Bond, Brosnan had made a name for himself in television show Remington Steele.It was around the time of him starring in this when Brosnan auditioned for the role of Batman for Tim Burton’s directorial take on the caped crusader.Speaking on The Tonight Show, Brosnan revealed a quip he made during the audition process – something he thought would win him the role. However, the actor revealed how it did just the opposite.“I remember saying something stupid to Tim Burton,” Brosnan told host Jimmy Fallon.

The White House economic adviser, when grilled on concerns of a recession on Sunday, assured Americans that the answer to whether the Biden administration was doing everything possible to increase energy supply and drive down consumer prices is "unequivocally yes." In an interview on "Fox News Sunday," White House Council of Economic Advisers member Jared Bernstein provided his definition for recession and noted a $1.4 trillion deficit reduction this fiscal year, but host Shannon Bream interjected that the number is coming off massive COVID spending. Bernstein said noted that the figure is also influenced by receipts coming into the Treasury because of "how strong economy has been."  "We have an unemployment rate that is 3.5%.There is no recession that would prevail with that kind of unemployment rate.

Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the U.S. ambassador on Saturday to express their "disappointment and concern" after President Joe Biden called Pakistan "one of the most dangerous nations in the world."  The president made the remark at a fundraiser for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee in Los Angeles while discussing Chinese President Xi Jinping.  "This is a guy who understands what he wants but has an enormous, enormous array of problems.

An economic adviser for President Biden claimed that Americans will notice a decrease in inflation when tax credits kick in that will allow them to weatherize their home. Asked by CNN Sunday when the Inflation Reduction Act will start bringing down inflation, Biden economic adviser Cecilia Rouse promised a noticeable difference "next year." "For example, there are tax credits for energy to help people weatherize their homes and also bring down other forms of energy costs," Rouse said.

An 82-year-old man says he would rather go to jail than pay the £100 fine he has been issued for cycling through a town centre. Barrie Enderby, from Grimsby, who regularly bikes around Grimsby town centre, says he told a council officer 'stick it up your a**e' when he was slapped with the fine earlier this month.

U.K. Prime Minister Liz Truss' push to cut taxes for her country's highest earners was a "mistake," President Biden stated Saturday. Truss was forced to scrap large portions of her tax plan last week amid market turmoil and disintegrating public confidence.

It is rare for any journalist to land an interview with President Biden, who has been historically hidden from the press in comparison to his predecessors. With just weeks left of 2022, the president has only given four televised sit-downs this year, most recently with CNN anchor Jake Tapper.  Last week, The Washington Post reported that anonymous federal agents allege they have "sufficient evidence" to charge Biden's son Hunter with tax and gun crimes.  During his interview with the president, Tapper allotted just one question about his embattled son in light of the latest developments.  "Personally and politically, how do you react to that?" Tapper asked on Tuesday.  Biden responded by reiterating how "proud" he was of his son, who he stressed has overcome his drug addiction and acknowledged the allegation that Hunter falsely claimed he was not addicted to drugs on his gun purchase application.  Tapper failed to ask any follow-up questions like whether he would pardon his son if criminal charges were brought.The anchor didn't even touch the looming questions over Hunter Biden's foreign business ties that could implicate his father, avoiding concerns about whether the president was involved in any of his son's financial dealings and if he himself ever received kickbacks.There were also no inquiries about revelations that several of Hunter Biden's associates visited the Obama-Biden White House even after Biden claimed on the campaign trail that he never talked business with his son.

Without robust, regular examinations of government agencies and processes, we run the risk of waste and abuse of taxpayer funding.This is why the House Committee on Natural Resources has an entire subcommittee dedicated to oversight, where we investigate both agencies and organizations at large and specific individuals to ensure above board compliance with federal law.   When Republicans were in the majority in the 116th Congress, I served as the chairman of this subcommittee, and we investigated the National Resources Defense Council and others for their ties to China.The organizations’ deep ties with Chinese officials suggested potential violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act disclosure requirements.The American people have a right to know if these purported "environmental" groups are advocating for and lining their pockets with funding from one of the world’s top polluters.  This is exactly the kind of oversight that will remain a top priority for Republicans as part of our Commitment to America.
