Alec Baldwin can put his parking spot blow up behind him. Back in 2019, Wojciech Cieszkowski sued the actor for assault and slander, claiming Alec punched him in the face as they argued and skirmished over a parking spot outside the "30 Rock" star's New York City apartment building. After the man filed the lawsuit, Alec filed a countersuit for defamation, claiming Wojciech blatantly lied about the incident.
Alec said he "lightly pushed" him and insisted that surveillance video would back his claim. The 3-year-old case is now behind the men.
On Jan. 31, a judge was notified that the men have settled their lawsuit, Page Six reported. "Alec Baldwin and Wojciech Cieszkowski have agreed to resolve all litigation concerning the incident that occurred between them on November 2, 2018," their lawyers said in a joint statement. "The terms of the resolution are private and confidential.
Neither party will have any further comment."The parking spat is one less problem for Alec. However, he still faces potential legal issues over the shooting death of Halyna Hutchins, who passed away on the set of the indie-Western film "Rust" in New Mexico in October 2021.
