More than a hundred guests were treated to a slap-up meal that was pure poetry in motion at Airdrie Burns Club's 138th anniversary dinner.The town's Tudor Hotel hosted the special gathering, which sadly began on a sombre note when president Billy Brookes remembered members who had passed away since the previous event.The haggis was piped in by Graham McKay and the address to the haggis provided by Dr Colin Lees with his usual aplomb.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
