Adele has opened up about how she felt while recording her upcoming album 30, and explained that it helped her confront her emotions.
Talking to BBC Radio 2 presenter Zoe Ball on her Breakfast Show this morning, 15 October, the Set Fire To The Rain singer explained that she used the album as an “outlet” for her feelings, and said that music “took care of [her]”.
She told Zoe: “It was bloody hard work to make, just in terms of, you know, I would sing things that I didn’t even realise I was feeling or thinking, but I’m really, really proud of it.” “I feel like I can’t unlock a door for my own mental health and take the key with me,” Adele continued. “I’ve got to leave it in the door for everyone else and I feel like I’m in a strong place now.
