Zooey Deschanel is coming back to television with a role in Apple TV+’s Physical! The -year-old actress will return to the small screen opposite Rose Byrne in the series as a character named Kelly.

Kelly is described as “a network sitcom star who decides to enter the burgeoning Fitness Industry.” Physical is set in 1980s San Diego, and centers on Sheila Rubin (Byrne), a quietly tortured, seemingly dutiful housewife supporting her smart but controversial husband’s bid for state assembly.

Season two saw Sheila successfully launched her first fitness video only to encounter some new and bigger obstacles on her path.
